I’m starting to run out of ideas for drinks to make and show on this blog. Since I’m posting pictures, I’ve tried to stick to drinks that might taste nice and that look interesting. I could make a Screwdriver (vodka & orange) but it would just look like orange juice. I could make a Black Russian but it just looks like a glass of coke.
If you have any ideas or recipes, please let me know. It does seem a little unfair for you to request a drink and then I make it and drink it, so if you have a request and I have the ingredients, you can come over and I’ll make it for you. Those of you in other countries might have to wait a while, but the invitation stands.

Have you managed to get your hands on any Frangelico? If so, then Toblerone would be my suggestion!

No frangelico yet, but it is high on my list – right after I restock my vodka and tequila.

Have you tried mixing vodka and L&P and whatever?

A flaming blue Bahuna. Recipe to follow.

Flaming Blue Bahuna,
1, Vermouth – 1/2 oz.
2, Bacardi 151 – 1 Splash
3, Anisette – 1/2 oz.
Mix into a shot glass, and splash the Bacardi on the very top. Be careful not to mix it into the rest of the drink. Then carefully light the rum on fire with a match. Blow out the flame and drink it fast before the rim gets too hot.
To get full effect 4 in an hour should do it with a bit of a nap afterwards. And placing non toxic blue pebbles inthe bottom of the shot glass is a good effect. Where do you get non toxic blue pebbles form? No Idea.

The pace has slowed. Either the alcohol has dried up or there is one hell of a hangover happening out there somewhere.

Yes, the pace has slowed
There’s 3 main reasons:
1. I’m running out of alcohol. I need more vodka and tequila, not to mention the frangelico, vermouth, bacardi 151 & anisette.
2. My camera ran out of batteries. So I made a couple of drinks the other night but couldn’t take photos of them to post.
3. My students had their mid-semester test and a major assignment due, and I have to mark the test and write the exam this weekend. And we had an all-day meeting today. So I’ve been a bit too busy to make cocktails, post, or buy alcohol or batteries.
Hopefully I can catch up after this weekend
I’m looking forward to trying a flaming blue bahuna, but I think it might be a while before my budget provides for the ingredients.
