Can I tempt you with a game of poker?

What?! Somebody obviously talked!
That was in fact my first ever live game of poker. But yes, much to my supervisor’s dismay, I can easily be tempted away from thesis work for a poker game

I played my first live poker game with some guys from Beca last Friday. Since I won, I’d guessed that might have been mentioned and was what you were referring to.
But yep, I enjoyed my first ever live game (I guess winning helps, even though it was a fluke) and I’m very definitely keen to do it again! All going well, within a couple of months I should have a lot more free time on my hands to do so
